I’m a terrible blogger. Sorry!

Just a quick note to say that THE HITWOMAN AND THE GOLD DIGGER, book 19 in the Confessions of a Slightly Neurotic Hitwoman series is now available.

Just when she thinks she may be catching a break, Maggie Lee is saddled with babysitting her psychic friend, Armani, whose spirit guides have suddenly deserted her. They never warned Armani that she’d be robbed while waiting for an online date who stood her up or that someone would break into her home.

But investigating the trouble in her friend’s world isn’t Maggie’s only problem. Someone shoots her avian pal, Mike, and Maggie is determined to find out whom.

Neither task is easy, but Maggie’s difficulties are intensified by trying to keep her unruly household running in the absence of Aunt Susan, who seems to have dropped off the planet.

And oh yeah, Maggie’s ne’er-do-well dad has returned to town.

Can Maggie successfully juggle her investigations, cops, bad guys, a reporter, her menagerie and her crazy family? Or will it all be too much for her?

I’m JB Lynn, author of the Confessions of a Slightly Neurotic Hitwoman series. I haven’t blogged in quite some time, but for some reason I feel compelled to now. Maybe it’s because I’m starting work on a new series I’m really excited about and I want to give readers a sneak peek into how my writer brain works. Maybe it’s because I keep getting messages that I should be teaching. I don’t feel qualified to do that, but maybe someone can learn something from me sharing this journey. Or maybe it’s just because I want a record of what I’ve accomplished, because it’s pretty easy when you’re mired in the writing trenches to lose track of how far you’ve come. Whatever the reason, I’m going to share my process, my progress, and my predilections for coffee and craziness. I hope you enjoy the ride!
